This is why, at Amplcare Health and Aesthetic Clinic, we offer a number of treatments that seek to rejuvenate the skin. Mesotherapy is a non-surgical skin cosmetic treatment that is aimed at improving problem areas on the face using hyaluronic acid. In the body, natural hyaluronic acid forms quickly and degrades in 24 to 48 hours. However with mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin), to promote the production of collagen and elastin. This helps to nourish and refresh the skin, whilst effectively stimulating the skin’s metabolism.

Any precautions to be taken after?
Arnica cream to minimize bruising.
Wearing a corser helps minimize discomfort.
Avoid strenuous exercise for a few days after the procedure.
Drink lots of water, to help eliminate toxins. Stick to a healthy diet!

Mesotherapy is the injection of a mixture of chemicals and vitamins under the skin; the effect is to:
Break down the fat cells beneath the skin.
Help remove the broken down fat into the body’s clearing system (lymphatics).
Stimulates collagen production, so firming and toning the skin.
It can treat fat deposits and cellulite in the following areas: Tummy, love handles, bra bulge, inner thighs and knees, buttocks, upper arms, chin.
The procedure offers an alternative to those who do not want surgery.
Although needles are used, these are very fine and painless.
The injectables contain an anaesthetic; this makes the injection practically painless.
Ice is used on the area before and during the procedure.
4 to 6 sessions usually recommended, done 1 or 2 weeks apart as a programme.
Massage treatment is recommended between sessions to help clear the fat more quickly.
Usually visible improvement noted after 2 or 3 sessions but make take longer. Improvement continues after treatment.
Some redness, swelling and tenderness, and possibly some bruising in the first 24-48 hours. These usually settle down in a few days.
One can resume work immediately after procedure.
